ViaMedia is a British-Norwegian art rock / post prog band that writes, records and performs music that is adventurous, creative and seeks to avoid any form of orthodoxy. On September 18th 2026 ViaMedia will release their second album, “Lullabies for the marooned”. The album is loosely based on the story of the 18th century warship The Wager, dispatched in an ill fated mission to current day Chile to fight the Spanish Armada. The album release is preceded by three singles taken from the album; “Commodore Anson”, “Weight of the world” and “Everything is quiet now”. In 2024 ViaMedia released the album Bridge of Sighs and EP Acres Green to great acclaim. ViaMedia were helped in the creation of the album and EP by some well known prog musicians, including John Mitchell and Craig Blundell. Bridge of Sighs centered thematically on conspiracy theories and the nature of truth in today’s world. The album received excellent reviews, calling it a “masterpiece” and “a future prog classic"
