"Unknown Pleasures de Joy Division es uno de los títulos más influyentes en la música. Recientemente, también ha sido elegido el mejor disco debut de la historia.

Días atrás, The Independent se embarcó en una aventura que dio como resultado un ranking, destacando los primeros trabajos de destacados artistas. La lista está encabezada por el debut del recordado cuarteto de Manchester, lanzado originalmente en junio de 1979.
